Last day at RSI went well, I said goodbye to the few people I got the chance to work with. Everyone was nice about it.
His car is in the shop again so Robin and I ran the Mustang out to Brandon, we got to see his new place. From there we went to Old Sac and had dinner, there was live music, we ate outside and enjoyed the time together. It was very nice. After dinner we went back to the tower bridge so that I could try my hand at some HDR work. With the camera shooting in RAW I set up the tripod, composed my shot, and then grabbed the bracketed exposures before heading home.
Well, this is really my first HDR photo. I had issues with PhotoShop and Lightroom and outdated camera RAW plugins and so I had to search for some free online software. I tried one called Picturenaut that I didn't care for, then ended up downloading another called Luminance HDR. I still had trouble getting the tonemapping to look good but this is what I ended up with. I'll need to play around some more with the software I think. What to those of you out there in the Daily Community use for HDR software???? Any tips on speeding up the processing time?
It took a couple hours to process this one, I think Robin fell asleep waiting for me to finish posting my daily. Later!

So, did God begin his creation without thinking it through all the way? [NO] If christendom is correct, he created the universe knowing that the vast majority of the children that he loves would not only be lost, but suffer for the remainder of eternity! Good thing christendom is wrong! If religion is correct, God would be far more foolish than someone who starts a puzzle (Robin) knowing that the grandchildren are going to lose a good number of pieces and the puzzle will never be complete! :) [You know it's true sweetie!]<br />

So, my day: I got in to work at 6 AM so that I could take off early and sign paperwork for the new job but God had other plans. The day went okay, I've been swimming in Java and getting familiar with Eclipse for too long, can't wait for the new gig.<br />

Since I was off early and my appointment was rescheduled to Thursday, I called Leroy to see if he still needed help with his computer, he did. He told me to let myself in, he was giving blood and would be there in 20. The dogs didn't eat me for dinner, but for about 2 seconds there I thought I was a gonner. I fixed the computer again and we spent an hour and half talking about God (my favorite subject) and religion. (my least favorite subject) I gave him some verses that support the fact that, through Christ, all will be saved. He seems interested but cautious. After all, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true, right? God couldn't possibly be big enough to save all mankind, religion tells us so! (Even though he wills (or wishes) that this happen. (1 Timothy 2:4) )<br />

Caution is good, open mindedness and an eagerness to check things out to see if they are true is even better. I hope God gives him a nudge so he will look into it to see if it is so. <br />

Got home, watched about 20 mins of TV, then had a gourmet chili cheese dog dinner. The cheesedog pic lost out to the puzzle pic I took on my lunch break after I read today's daily email goodie from Clyde Pilkington. I'll sign off now, going to go spend a nice evening with my sweetie, my daughter, and the gKids.<br />
