2009.01.08 (Thu) - A blur
Dinner was great last night; Robin and I had a very nice and Romantic dinner at Ella downtown. The restaurant was great, the food and service were impeccable but the company was the best part. Love you R!
This morning started off a bit rocky, we have some family issues to work though with the B man. He is a good kid but things can be difficult when you are his age, things tend to feel like they are happening so fast that life can be a great big blur.
We love you B, we'll get through it...
On another note, the usb jack on our DSLR just broke, we'll have to use an external card reader to copy photos off the card until I can get it in for repair. We only have the one camera and not sure how long I would be without it! Oh well...

![2009.01.13 (Tue) - New years shoes
Well, I did it... <a target="_blank" href="http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/7445561">Got up early this AM and ran 5K</a>. The good news is that I was able to make the full distance non-stop, the bad news was my time, 36:05. A year ago I had a 5K PR of 27:09 so I have a long way to go.
Got in to work and busted though some screen designs before lunch. I packed a healthy lunch and felt pretty good all day. I wrapped up the work day by 4PM, got home and watched some news, ate dinner, and then went on a nice 5K walk with Robin.
Brandon got his replacement MacBook this evening, we cloned his hard drive before we shipped out the defective one so now we are cloning his new hard drive and he will be back in business by tomorrow.
After starting B's clone restore, I grabbed this quick shot of my new running shoes for a daily and now I'm ready to relax with Robin for the rest of the night.
