Got up early, started a sample project from th new MVC4 book I got last week. It's been almost six months since I did and MVC development so it's been a good refresher. About 10:30 my pop showed up with a van, we ran to a furniture store to pick up the new bed he purchased for their spare room. We loaded it up, drove back to his place and unloaded it and then he dropped me off at home. I continued coding for a bit, then took a break to read a little.
We took off with Kayla and met up with Mel, Amy, Crystal and George at Sammys' on Vernon street. We were gathering to celebrate Mels' and Amys' b-days. The food was good, the company was good, we all had fun sharing fun stories and confessing some of the bad things we did as kids. George was missing the game that was going on just behind him. Every time the bar erupted in cheers, we all looked over at him. He was watching on his phone but there was an internet delay so he had to wait a minute or so to find out what the cheering was all about. Poor George!
After dinner Robin and I split off to let Melody and the kids go do what the kids all do after the old folks bug out. We grabbed the tripod and camera and walked back to grab a shot of Sammy's. After that shot, we met up with Ryan and Rhianna and the rest of the gang in front of the old Roseville theater. I grabbed a group shot but the exposure was too slow. While there I grabbed this shot of the neon marquee.
Damn it was cold, Robin and I took off for the car, and then for home to post photos and relax for the evening.
Good day, Later!
