Up early, wasn't feeling up to a run so I walked 5 kilometers before work. Showered, changed, made breakfast, connected to work with VPN and got some work done until Robin got home. Grabbed hugs and headed to the office in Robin's car. Work went well, no bugs bounced back and not much going on from the folks in marketing so I got started on the Software Design Document for some changes to our e-Sign process. I flowed out my proposed changes in a Visio flowchart, then created a screen mockup. I added these to the document I started a week ago and added some details about the design and how I propose to meet the requirements in the BRD.
I grabbed lunch at the Oracle cafe and returned to my desk to keep working during lunch. I took a call from a friend and fellow software developer Richard, I walked around the campus while we talked in order to get some more steps in for the "10,000 Steps" a day challenge that is going on at work. He called to ask about a comment he found in our "CAP" sourcecode. It read "Warning, thar be draggons in here!". Heh, I don't know if it was me or Rob who left the comment but Richard just wanted to say "thanks" for the warning. Too funny, I told him not to feel like he's alone, I've found dragons in code every place I've worked!
I worked late and then headed to Sutter East. Melody was in need of a ride home so I picked her up at work and dropped her home before I headed home myself. Robin had made Chinese, we ate and then grabbed the camera gear to go grab a daily shot. We decided to stay local, we ran to Vernon street and grabbed some shots. Returned home, proccessed a few and Robin helped pick the one to post.
Kayla and Robin are watching a movie tonight, I think I'll grab some coffee and convert it into code!
